ALL PATRONS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO USE THE LIBRARY SERVICES CURBSIDE WHENEVER POSSIBLE

 

PATRONS MUST:

    • Wear a FACE COVERING at all times while in the building

    • Use HAND SANITIZER immediately upon entering the building

    • Call 256-728-5128 before entering to verify library is not at capacity

 

LIMITS TO LIBRARY USE

    • If the library is at capacity, then patrons must wait outside for others to leave before being allowed in the building

    • Patrons may stay in the library for no more than 30 minutes

 

LIBRARY HOURS

    • Open for elderly and/or immunocompromised ONLY

      • Tuesday - Saturday 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

    • Open to the general public

      • Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday  11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

      • Wednesday and Saturday 11 a.m. until noon

 

PUBLIC SAFETY IS IMPORTANT

  • No public restrooms will be available for use

  • No story time at this time.

  • We ask that patrons DO NOT use disinfectant wipes or spray on library materials as this can cause significant damage. If it is found that library materials have been damaged while in your possession, then you will be held responsible for the cost of replacement of said materials.

 

POLICY REGARDING COMPUTER USE, PRINTING, COPIES, AND FAXING

    • ONLY 1 computer will be available for use

    • As always, you must have a library card in good standing (no fees or overdue books) in order to use the computer.

    • Patrons may stay on the computer no more than 30 minutes 

    • If the computer is in use, then patron must wait outside until computer is available. 

    • In order to maintain social distancing, no personal assistance can be provided by library staff for computer use. 

    • Since the copier/fax machine cannot be disassembled for sanitization of all possibly contaminated parts; patrons understand that these services are provided “at your own risk”
