What does the Grant Public Library do with donations?

  • All donations are greatly appreciated. The library adds donated items to the collection, sells them in the library book sale room, donates them to other nonprofit agencies, or recycles them.

  • The money raised through sales and cash donations helps to fund programs and/or purchase of books and other materials.

What can I do with materials the library cannot accept?

  • Most thrift stores accept books and other materials as donations.

  • Damaged books can be recycled as mixed paper.
